The popular Third Thursdays on Tybee continued on May 20^th with a performance by Megan Panther and Darryl Van Horne. The couple met when Darryl heard Megan perform in Miami.  Megan describes Darryl as her mentor. They have performed together extensively in the Savannah area. 

Darryl Van Horne, is a singer/songwriter with skill in guitar and keyboards. He says he was influenced by Van Morrison and Elton John.  To begin the program, the dynamic Megan sang vocals of both Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt. Some original songs performed by the duo were country-western, “North 40” and “How to Write a Western Song.”  Darryl performed some solos and they finished with reggae. The Third Thursdays will continue on June 17^th with the Viguba Trio and July 15^th with Jan Spillane.  Mark your calendars for these events!
